STEM Teacher

Robbins Elementary School

Session Description:

Literacy and STEM go hand in hand at Robbins Elementary School. This presentation will provide examples of how we are

integrating picture books with STEM lessons using the engineering design process and many basic materials. Presentation slides include an image of each picture book used, materials lists, and photos of students engaged in the activities. The

presentation link will be shared with all members! Come join us for an exciting evening presented by one of our own Moore County teachers!

Please bring your new or gently used books to be donated to the Pediatric Unit at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital to the meeting.

This is the kick-off of this project which is a part of the NCRA Mary Ellen Skidmore Project.

Check with Gina Matthews at Southern Middle if you have questions!

Giving away 4 free meals for our next meeting at Golden Corall!

(Must be present to win.)
